Biography Sindhi Folk Music Singer Shazia Khushk

Shazia Khushk was born in 1970  in Jamshoro Sindh. She created a good name in Sindhi Music. She performed a show in 1992 as per the advice of her husband and he encouraged her and she performed well. Shazia Khushk emerged as a singer of two prominent dialects Sindhi and Balochi. 

She is a great  Sindhi and  Balochi Music Folk Singer,  she is a fan of hit songs about Marvi and poetry of renowned poets of Sindh “Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai  R.A”  and others. Shazia adds of her spouse, “My husband often nicknamed me the Queen of Voice,” that he “always encouraged me.”

She became known as a singer of the well-known Sindhi and Balochi languages. Her name became well-known around the nation because of her debut song Mara Udheta Pakhiyara Kadi Aao Na Maare Des.

Shazia Khushk’s Life and Career Achievements

Over the course of her career, Shazia Khushk performed more than 500 songs in 45 different nations. Shazia was chosen by the US Consulate General in Karachi to serve as a “goodwill ambassador.” She received an honorary fellowship for “Sufism – folk music” from Sindh University, Jamshoro. She was given a “presidential prize” by the Uzbek government.

She has always enjoyed music and trained under the legendary classical musician Ustad Fateh Ali Khan. She learned to sing in eleven different languages thanks to his guidance, including Sindhi, Urdu, Saraiki, Balochi, Brahui, Punjabi, Pushto, Gujrati, Pahari, Kashmiri, and Hindko.
